Summary

At NPC Group we are dedicated to identifying high-potential opportunities in the rapidly evolving digital asset space. We are seeking a talented DeFi Research Analyst to join our team and help us implement our investment projects.

Overview

NPC Group is a partner firm of Polygon Labs aiming to incubate, fund, and accelerate projects building on Polygon network. We are a small group of motivated crypto native individuals focused on building interesting projects while collaborating with talented people and founders to generate returns.

DeFi ecosystem is fast evolving. New protocols, token models, and innovations emerge every day, reshaping the way we think about finance, liquidity, and decentralized markets. Polygon PoS is helping onboard millions to web 3.0 and we want to contribute to this mission by on-boarding many more. In this role, you’ll be analyzing market trends, customer behavior, evaluating protocols, and identifying opportunities that can shape the direction of our DeFi projects. You will be responsible for 0→1 development of products from idealization to markets. From validating early concepts to scaling market-proven solutions, we want people who can be experimental and aren’t afraid to get things done.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on new DeFi projects, new protocols, and market trends.
• Analyze white papers, Telegram groups, technical documents, and project roadmaps to assess potential trading opportunities.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing investments.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive research reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with the investment team to provide insights and recommendations.
• Stay updated on regulatory developments and industry news.
• Utilize quantitative and qualitative analysis to support investment decisions.
• Participate in industry conferences, webinars, and networking events.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in Web3, fintech, or startup environments.
• Strong understanding of DeFi, tokenomics, and blockchain fundamentals.
• Experience working in early-stage environments, driving product strategy and execution.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with founders, engineers, and GTM teams.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as within a team environment
• A proactive problem-solver who can guide teams through changes and course corrections.
